Red berries linger on the front of my palate, but earthy, dark fruits persist. The finish ends abruptly with peppery spices. A delicious chocolaty chalkiness, compliments the brambly acidity, that makes this wine so simply approachable. — 3 years ago
Dark and blue fruit, soft tannins and mild spice show in this Nero D’Avola. Lacking in minerality, as the varietal goes. For the price… I’d recommend it. It’s very approachable — 2 years ago
Juicy and young. Fun tannins make salty and fatty snacks exciting! — 2 years ago
Upon opening red currant and red brambles lead with some nice herbal notes. Tannins are soft to open, but develop as the wine does. Earthy notes follow as the wine opens up into cherry, cola, and milk chocolate. This vintage is great, and this wine has great potential. Drink in four years, or after. — 2 years ago
Dark and blue fruits lead to fun tannins. A mildly spicy, long finish persists. It’s one of my favorites! — 2 years ago
Vanilla cherry cola notes compliment dark and blue berry flavors. Spicy bits highlight young tannins. Give this some air, and you’ll find it vibrant and enjoyable. I bet this will be better in 5 years — 2 years ago
Fun, lively acidity lead to tart green apple and stone fruits. It offers a floral bouquet. Bitter grapefruit comes out , as it warms. Nice minerality, and a persistent finish make this quite enjoyable. I’d buy it again 👍 — 3 years ago
Fun, fruity Nero! It doesn’t have the spice or structure of a great Nero D’Avola, but it drinks great for any occasion. I’ll buy more👍 — 3 years ago

Quite enjoyable from start to finish. Red berries and brambles, and tarry tobacco preamble subtle tannins. Herbal notes present on the nose. Medium to light body. It has quite lovely, balanced acidity. While the finish isn’t notable, it is persistently there. This is a great every day wine from the Piemonte! — 2 years ago
