Quite tannic, supple acidity on the palate. No real length, earthy spice and dark fruits on the nose. Needs air and time. — 7 years ago
Incredible Chardonnay. The 2015 held incredible fruit quality, showing off a cold climate in the Hunter that lent its hand to perfectly creamy and acidic Chardonnay that had all the works of a drinking and food pairing kind of wine. Tingle on the front with the mineral notes, melded into a beautiful quince, citrus sort of play, with little oak that helped balance. Was best when left for a while, as the 16' has also proved to be. — 8 years ago
Really enjoyed. Super easy drinking. Tight tannin, goes down smooth, a treat to drink. — 7 years ago
Upon first tasting this Pinot with the winemaker I loved it. It's a beautiful light red, almost dark rose, and had nice character. Upon buying a case the Pinot had faint vinegar notes, but maintained the nice light bodied texture. With a touch of chill the Pinots fruit came through, strawberries, cranberries all with that original acid. A bit of air and an age I'm sure will lend a good going for it. — 7 years ago
No fruit presence. No uniqueness in flavour character, seems to have spent a bit too much time on old oak and tastes more like a campfire, old style Chardonnay, then one that reflects the fruit used. Not a fan. — 7 years ago
Another masterstroke from Steve Pannel, beautiful cold climate shiraz, good body, dark berries, touch of soft spice but overall a nice fruit driven shiraz for Australian climates. — 8 years ago

Really good. Nice and dry, perfect acid levels, no minerality but for the price really good drink. — 7 years ago
