Strangely good. Smells of dried black mushrooms, and tastes of fresh herbs and violets. Really solid wine from Portugal. Lacks the punch of bigger red grapes or the complexity of Pinot Noir, but good solid wine!! — 9 years ago
Juicy and succulent tastes of red apple peels and light tangy raspberries. It is what a solid Pinot Noir is; not overpowering and plenty of juice to compliment a myriad of fruits. My brother brought around Chinese roasted pork and goodness did the fruit enhance the richness in the pork. It did get overpowered by the copious spice in the 3 spice chicken. Nicely done. — 9 years ago
Decant at least an hour. This is a gorgeous Barolo and boasts of stunning fruit and long, lingering finish. — 9 years ago
Good! Floral bouquet just smacks you. Nice and smooth almond milk and honey, and pear with long finish. Had it with wild salmon in a miso, soy ginger glaze. It was really good, and it was tremendous in accentuating the richness in the salmon. Absolutely good Chenin Blanc ... Good!! — 8 years ago
A total miss for me. Spiced berry fruit with a hint of cinnamon, but then it transitions oddly to a very uneven tobacco, earthy finish, but definitely too much mineral. Definitely, not my favorite Pinot Noir. — 9 years ago
Nice Burlotto. Smells of green peppers and a bit of cloves. Tastes of fruit jam, tannins are soft and velvety, and has a nice smoky and chalky quality. Surprised such a young wine needs so little time in the bottle and while it can last a few more years in the bottle, now is the right time to drink it. Not bad with a nice thick ragu. — 9 years ago
Glorious!! More please. Coffee and dried tobacco on the nose. Ripe fruit and is earthy and mineral with a licorice finish that lasts. — 9 years ago
Brilliant!! Ripe and spiced berry fruit; smells of a fresh bouquet of just picked flowers. Finishes on a leathery like granite earthy taste. Really well balanced from start to finish. Had with red miso pork, and the spice of the fruit totally pulls out the succulent fat in the meat. Just really good!! — 9 years ago
Incredible value!! Soft velvet tannins, and jammy with that subtle mint interwoven. The chalkiness in the finish is like a fine milk chocolate. Nicely constructed!! Fuck the adage of red wines with red meat, I had it with Atlantic cod with a tangy Asian inspired sauce, really mixed well with the tang to bring out a slight and pleasing sweetness in the flaky fish!! — 9 years ago

Delicious red. Toasted almonds and vanilla floral bouquets, on the nose. Ripe berry fruit that is very juicy and crisp apple skin. Not very complex but pairs well with a mellow pasta veal ragu. Solid. — 8 years ago
