I’d forgotten how very yummy Amarone was. Italian restaurant in Rome - they didn’t have the primitivo I wanted so tried this Classico 2020 instead. Very quaffable, rich notes went well with my lasagna. Bit like a warm hug and relatively low tannins. Now to see if I can find anything similar back in UK. — 10 months ago

Stumbled upon this almost by mistake whilst drinking the other Bollinger (La Grande Annee 2015) on a BA F flight. I must admit I don’t think I’ve had a BdN before (plenty of BdBs though). And as a big Pinot Noir fan, I had to try it and was@not disappointed. Loved it, more than the vintage one if I’m honest. Felt it had a bit more structure/depth. Now looking around to see if I can find a bottle (around £98) but it’s pretty limited. — a year ago
