Deep, dark red cab / Sangiovese blend, rounded out with cab franc. This is a meaty, bold red, great with beef, duck, or game. Had cellared first several years. WS 91; WE 88 - $38 — 5 years ago
LOVE! Surprised not rated higher. It’s a perfect cab. Pricey though (~$70). Summed up nicely by WE: Cabernet Sauvignon (88%) takes the lead on this wine, with the balance Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. Aromas of blackberry, blue fruit, flowers and barrel spice are followed by pitch-black-fruit flavors. Lightly chewy tannins provide some heft but have room to broaden. — 5 years ago
Given by Vine Farmer importers. Fantastic (though young) barolo with light fruit-forward bouquet. — 2 years ago

Drank during COVID-19 lockdown. Okay, but wouldn’t buy again at this price point ($25-$30) — 5 years ago

Bouquet and mouthfeel of blackberry jam and dark cherry - smooth, sweet, and fruit-forward, but curious what would come out with age. Love this wine, and sad I didn’t cellar it. — 2 years ago
Great wine at this price point. Fruit forward and versatile for pairing with a variety of foods given its full body, yet cherry and blackberry notes. ~$15 — 5 years ago

The best of the wines I tried at the vineyard, though they specialize in whites (didn’t care for Riesling, but really enjoyed the gewurtztriminer) — 2 years ago
