This wine was the perfect compliment to a long Monday! The dark fruits- ripe plum?- were well balanced by the vanilla undertones and hints of nutmeg. The rich initial encounter upon first sip, was followed by an unexpectedly smooth finish. Would pair well with a rich apple cobbler eaten on a front porch with friends on a cool fall night. Bringing in the first tastes of fall while eating with friends and enjoying the gentle beats from the "dinner with friends" Spotify playlist. Subtle tannins and blackberry flavors are prevalent in this light Malbec. I would recommend this wine for dinners with close friends who... you're not trying to impress.
