Lovely notes of bruised pear, chamomile, brioche, sour cream, golden delicious apple, baked lemon, and limestone. Off dry that adds some body but enough acidity to balance it. Delicious especially for the price. — 7 years ago
Likely past its prime now. Lots of cranberries and red currants at first then it’s all about loamy earth, forest floor, and musty truffle. Slight tobacco on the palate as well. Soft and velvety overall. — 7 years ago
Tart peaches, pineapple, green apple, lemon meringue, smoke, and lots of minerality with chalk, gravel, and granite. Fantastic quality for the price. — 7 years ago
Some orchard fruits but the more prominent notes are florals and oak. There’s more minerality on the palate, particularly salt and chalk. Fairly voluptuous and not a bad offering, especially for the price. — 7 years ago
Strong citrus and gooseberry at first but florals break it up nicely. Smoky flavor with green herbs and petrichor as well. More body than expected but still balanced and enjoyable. — 7 years ago
Green apple, lemon, lime, some smoke, lots of florals, and tons of minerality, particularly quartz and slate. Great structure with all that acidity balancing the sugar. — 7 years ago
Burnt sugar, bittersweet chocolate, orange peel, candies pecans and walnuts, even figs and prunes. Lovely acidity that keeps everything balanced, particularly the moderate sweetness. — 7 years ago
Concentrated notes of gooseberry, pink grapefruit, and asparagus. Lighter touches of citrus, pear, melon, guava, and a bit of wet rock minerality. Quite nice. — 7 years ago
Surprising little bubbles in there. Mostly citrus, white pepper, yeast, and light minerality. It’s not complex but quite refreshing and well done. — 7 years ago

So much botrytis it tastes dry at first. Quince, lanolin, damp earth, mushrooms, gravel, syrupy tropical fruits, vanilla, coconut, almond paste, orange marmalade, and plenty of black pepper. So well balanced. — 7 years ago
