This missed the mark for me. It smelled strongly of alcohol and some volatile acidity, overpowering the nice nutty aromas I look for in a tawny. An unpleasant sweetness overwhelmed any nut and dried fruit flavors on the palate. Overall, an unbalanced port. — 11 years ago
