Solid red blend. Currents, plum, mild red fruits. Not spicy. Designed to be an easy drinking, food not necessary, daily glass of wine. And it is. Opens up its balance with a decanter. Medium tannins. — 10 years ago

Best Riesling I've ever had. Late harvest, but not syrupy at all. Beautiful golden color. Low acidity. It's what they're drinking in Heaven. — 11 years ago

Stone fruits on the nose. Apricot, peach. Light to medium body, sweeter for most Rieslings these days. Slight effervescence. Lingering aftertaste. Good, but the sweetness does make it hard to enjoy more than one glass. — 10 years ago

Description read notes of flowers, Apple, citrus. Definitely got the apple and citrus. More tart than I care for, but nothing obscene. Bit of a lingering not-so-pleasant almost tannic aftertaste at the back of the throat........goes well with pizza rolls. I can take it or leave it. If the Warriors lose game 1 against Labron, I'll be blaming the wine. If the Warriors win, I won't be giving credit to the wine. — 10 years ago

Bouquet has lemon, leather, cherry cola. Tastes sweet, red fruit, mild pepper spice. Tastes more tannic than the feel, if that makes any sense. But definitely sweet. — 11 years ago

Heavy plum and molasses on the nose. Reminded me of a port. Pretty tannic, but well blended. Maybe a lingering taste of currants. It'd pair well with beef or lamb. But for me, easy to drink by itself. — 10 years ago

Very easy drinking. Just enough sweetness to combat any harsh acidity. Not acidic at all, really. Smooth. A little earth and leather on the nose. Apple and light citrus on the palate. Tangerine, I was reminded of. Some sort of faint flowery note as well. Maybe violet? No lingering coppery aftertaste that I find in some sparklings. You're always ready for your next sip. And therein lies the danger. Easy to finish your glass rather quickly. Cheers! — 10 years ago

Red fruit on the nose, pepper and blackberries and strawberries on the palate. Currants too. Dry finish, ready for the next sip. Not bold, not mello, medium body. Delicious. — 11 years ago
