2012 Vintage In search of the one wine so complete and perfect that it makes me cry. This one came close. Wonderful nose with floral and dark red fruit notes. Dark chocolate and tobacco with Old World rustic earthy flavors. Smooth finish that continues the balancing act from the nose and throughout the palette. Beautiful example of Pinot Noir's elegance and simplicity. Wonderful light red cherry on the nose with light floral hints. None of the oakey buttery mess of the 2012. The smooth medium body and acidity make this a well structured and perfectly balanced wine. Long

2013 vintage is it just me or is Hahn winery just kicking butt everything ive had from them recently has just exceeded expectations this GSM is so close to the guigel Cote du Rhone but a bit more intense with over the top fruit and residual sugar Fortunately it is structured and balanced just enough with the bold acidity and tannins which keeps the sugary fruit from being flabby Drink it now love the cherry tootsie pop on the nose — 9 years ago
