Full-bodied pinot, but with some nice earth notes and a good interesting funk. A hint of acidity left but 15 years is probably the max for this wine and vineyard. Not my style though, a bit too heavy-handed, even taking into account the age. 2004 vintage had on June 1, 2019 — 6 years ago

The 1982 was still very vibrant with lots of strong earthy tones mixed with dried cherries. Good acidity. — 8 years ago

I’m sad to say that this was a terribly disappointing wine. High alcohol, heavily extracted, no balance and quite frankly it was hard to have more than one glass. I ended up having more than that hoping it would open up and transform into something different. Sadly it did not. This is not what a Pinot Noir should be. However, if you are into cabs and varietals grown in warmer regions maybe you will appreciate this, however this is either poor execution (probably not) or just an attempt to make Pinot taste like something else. — 6 years ago

Interesting. Possibly the best Syrah I've ever had. The 1990 vintage still has plenty of life left in it. — 8 years ago

If you're looking for a typical Oregon Pinot then find something else. This beautiful vineyard has been ruined by a late harvest/high brix pick. Subsequently the flavor that hits you initially is raisins and unfortunately it's something that stays with you as there are not many other layers that reveal themselves as the wine swirls about in your mouth. If you're sitting on any of these bottles drink them now as they are not going to get any better. — 9 years ago

Possibly one of the best bottles of wine I've had in a long time. Wonderful roundness with hints of honey and elderflower. Well-balanced acidity. 2008 vintage had in 2017, and it seems like it will only continue to get better. — 8 years ago

This beautiful wine will only keep getting better. Give it at least 5 years, although the 2014 was already quite approachable and a good pairing with food due to the great acidity levels. — 8 years ago
