Let it decant for 3 hours. Opened up beautifully and needs more time but wow! A phenomenal cab. Elegant power but great dark fruit with good acidity and just hedonistic. Not overly oaky but just enough. Would love to try other years — a month ago

Great wine. Definitely worth trying again but I felt this was a bit one dimensional. A lot of pear, white fruit and slight apple, brioche and with slight acidity and but didn't change much after. I tried in 2025 so its 17 years old so maybe its past its peak or its waning but its my first wine of this age so maybe i need to try more. Either way, it's a delicious wine — a month ago

Very elegant, earthy, and the fruit has faded but the tannins are still present. Dark for sure but lacked the complexity. Maybe because it was old but just missed that je ne sais quoi. Want to do a young mayacamas to compare. — a month ago

Phenomenal wine! Elegant but with subtle power. Rich red fruit with dark raspberries, hints of strawberry, crushed stone, touches of tar and cedar and subtle hints of smoke with chalky tannins. Classic barbaresco. Will try again! A wine to go back to. — 5 days ago
