Delicious. Fruit forward for the region and the producer, but it’s working for me. Raspberry, dark cherry, red currants. Hints of cocoa. Well balanced. — a month ago
Slovenian Pinot. Fun to try a different approach. Has more acidity relative to new world versions, and some funkiness and forest floor that crosses both old and new. Not quite as balanced as I prefer, but fun to try a favorite varietal approached differently. — a month ago
Leather, dried red fruit, oak, some plum and blackberry. Big and bold, a bit smoky. Fun to try a different expression of garnacha. — 10 days ago
Big, brambly, bold. Not harmonious yet. Hard to say if everything will come together at some point. Big red fruit, some woody notes, unripe red currant, plenty of tannin yet has some juiciness. Unrefined but kind of fun. — 12 days ago
Earthy, supple cherry, cedar and hints of vanilla. Very smooth. Straightforward, not quite elegant, but easy to enjoy. — 2 months ago
Fresh strawberry, raspberry, plenty of acid, some earthiness. Lively, well balanced and has enough depth to serve as a good transition into cooler weather. — 11 days ago
A very classic central coast Pinot — this is a well executed genre exercise vs something artistic or expressive. A solid choice for Thursday evening. — 19 days ago
Golden apple, rose water, pear. Big on the palate, enough acidity to keep it from feeling heavy. — a month ago
Funky Greek red. Sour cherry, raspberry, plenty of acid and earthiness. Very old world, spicy, pairs well with BBQ when chilled a little bit. — 2 months ago

Black cherry, fresh and dried red fruit, plenty of tannin, and some tobacco/cedar notes. Medium heavy body. Don’t catch a lot of fruit on the nose. Fun label, solid value. — 4 days ago
