Right, what we getting....heavy robust start, light clean finish. Light tannins. Little bit of vanilla. Little bit of Lychee, pepper, slight smoke, very subtle. Rounded finish. — 9 years ago
More structured than I've had before for a Pinot. Perhaps as I've more focused Californian Sonoma and New World. Less fruit and quite pleasant fortified tone I think. Slight oak and smoke, hint of Armagnac. That's it, it's Armagnac. Maybe they've overcooked the Armagnac tone a tad. — 9 years ago
Pretty tart and not particularly rounded. Lots of bubbles, pear, cream and a drop of lime. However a good clean finish. I guess if it's on offer, go for it, say sub £10. Otherwise some of the high streets 'own brand' also hit the mark. — 9 years ago
Simple sparkling wine, fresh with round bubbles. Not too sharp. Peach tones with slight creaminess. Taste drops off quickly. More front than back! — 9 years ago
Kind of average. It's good for a Pinot noir. Guess I'm struggling a little due to the previous wine which was a bit fuller. So.....smoke, tobacco. Nope, actually this is no good. It's just simple plonk. — 9 years ago
Bright fruit scent accompanied with much more subtle fruit palette as I guess is to be expect for PN. Nice sharper fruits which suit it well for a great crisp taste and not overly lingering. Nice tannin presence that drops off quickly as well, making you want another swig! Plenty of booze and plum stuff on the end. — 9 years ago
