This is the more serious sibling of one of our favorite weeknight wines. Dark fruit dominates. Inky purple in the glass. Tannic with notes of graphite and leather. 2005 — 11 years ago
A "cousin" of Sangiovese and it shows! Great with pizza. Smooth, red fruit forward with good length. Medium-light body with good brightness and acidity. Very traditional with not a hint of barrel aging. — 11 years ago
Decent "Cousin" of Chianti — 11 years ago
Notes of plum and raspberry on the nose with a bit of bramble. Smooth, fine tannins. A bit one dimensional but enjoyable. — 11 years ago
Yet another "cousin" of Sangiovese. Spicy nose as others have commented. Pure red fruits and light body. Very food friendly. Not complex but good with red sauce in the way a Barbera D'Asti would be. If someone told me this was Chianti I would believe them. — 11 years ago
Perfectly good "house" Super-Tuscan. — 11 years ago
Very easy-drinking fruit forward Spanish blend of Cab, Tempranillo, and Merlot. One note, but a good Tuesday night sipper for a song. 2006 — 11 years ago
2004 Reserva — 11 years ago
White Tuscan IGT. Pale straw color and taste to match. Interesting, but I don't quite "get" it. — 11 years ago
