Dark ruby coloration. Some translucency. On the nose, ripe plum, raisin, anise, chocolate, amarena cherry. On the palate, lots of amarena cherry- fruit forward, transitioning into some plum, raisin, anise, chocolate and very strong acidity. Not my favorite style of Amarone with the acidity being so prominent and missing that lush, velvety texture and full body. Long finish of raisin, plum and chocolate. On the palate, rich, full bodied, cherry, red berry, anise, vanilla, minerals and chocolate. Long, long chocolate finish with some notes of the fruit as well. — 3 months ago

On the palate, very much mirrors the nose, with hints of earth, florals, anise, and has a medium long finish of hibiscus tea, red berry and anise.
