Really soft and fruity with some acidity and a long finish. It's all about red fruits, and sitting out in this restaurant in the open air with our smoked fish and fruity balsamic, the only downside is finishing the bottle. — 9 years ago

Peppery and blackcurrenty. Maybe it's the Sicilian Meat Balls with cheese in tomato sauce, maybe it's the spicy rigatoni with fennel but this wine goes down a treat. I'm glad to see this nerello mascalese grape showing up in shops more and more. It's one to search for when I'm back home! — 9 years ago
