The nose is very fruit-driven, no floral notes though there is a spice profile that recurs on the palate alongside the powerful dark cherry and black currants. Still a touch primary. Took on weight and gained power as it aerated in the glass, though never imbalanced. Additional mocha and some licorice notes on the expansive finish.
