I really don't even know what to say. The cork was in perfect condition. It was, strangely, tight at first and then just kept opening up in the glass. Bouquet of graphite and leather and very subtle cassis. Could easily go another five years. Full bodied that went perfectly with our NY strip. Cedar and smoke and wet leather with underpinnings of fruit and black fruit. I'm so sad this was my last bottle. — 9 years ago
A beautiful dark gold with surprisingly low RS for a Spatlese kept evolving in the glass and paired well with baked Brie and honey crisp apples. — 9 years ago
