This wine is outstanding especially for the price. Not to be confused with its relative and more sophisticated Amarone, this wine has almost all its features minus the heaviness. This is why it's known as baby Amarone. It has great legs that cling to the glass with a beautiful dark ruby plum color. It has the taste of black cherry, fig, with a touch of pepper all brought together in a silky smooth mouth watering delicious flavor. It's finish is lasting with mild tannins to bring it to a close. — 7 years ago
