One of the many interesting wines coming out of Valle de Guadalupe. Opened up nicely.... earthy with nice white pepper notes from the petite sirah. — 8 years ago
Exceptional bottle of wine. Beautiful dusty earth tones on the nose transitioning to a Layered complex palate Reminiscent of old Bordeaux — 8 years ago
Another Gem from Etna. Nice cherry notes ending with bright, balanced acidity. — 8 years ago
Graci 2014 Etna Rosso, or as I call it Sicily's answer to Burgundy. Nice expression of the volcanic soil that is Etna. Bright acidity. Could use a little more time in bottle. Had with Roasted Chicken w Rapini and roasted sunchokes. This little bottle made that bird sing.

Surprise! 100% Braucol from Gaillac. Roses, Currant, dark cherries on the nose. Silky with dark fruit, white pepper and a slight Dustiness on the finish. Perfect compliment to an Argentinian inspired dinner. — 8 years ago

Nebbiolo from a lesser known area in Piemonte. All the characteristics of Nebbiolo that make this one of my favorite varietals. 2010 was very approachable. Great fruit, hints of rose petals all brought together with a true sense of place. Carried through a lovely meal. — 8 years ago
