I was disappointed with this. Didn't have that luxuriousness I was expecting from it based on it being a Bordeaux. To me it tasted dry, uninteresting, and kind of chalky. Have another bottle and will let it open up more and maybe pair with a steak or something like that. — 2 months ago
Acidic (like an apple, a kind of sharp, crisp, tangyness). Had it after another SA Chenin blanc and this was better. But nothing super special. — 2 months ago
Had nice structure, like tannins balanced well good mouth feel. A little sweet and juicy. Nothing particularly exciting about it to me though. No special note that I can observe.
Update: it's quite inky and jammy. Not my favorite quality in a wine. — 19 days ago

Very dark color, almost inky. I remember loving it because it had that soily dirty taste to it but I didn't get that this time. Fine for the price though. Solid but nothing really exciting. — 2 months ago
Was quite nice, had an interesting complex character. Was a bit sweet for my taste. — a month ago
It's a mix of Cabernet Franc and Gamay (Beaujolais). These are apparently both fruity varietals (in different ways) and I definitely get that. Gamay is more light fruity and the cab franc balances that out with more kind of dark spicy fruit. All in all this is a really nice blend. Assuming it's not very expensive I would be happy to return to this. — a month ago
It's got a nice sweet quality that is definitely appealing to me but it does kind of feel artificial, not like a really quality bottle. — 2 months ago
Nice, very clean. Nice clean nose too. A bit of citrus and apple. Not super interesting but a nice clean glass of white. The colder the better. — 2 months ago

I unfortunately didn't really get to appreciate this as we opened it with guests over and when running around. But from the sip or two I had it tasted like a nice Sauvignon Blanc. Refined, with some nice sophistication over something like a basic Pinot Grigio. — 13 days ago
