Acidic (like an apple, a kind of sharp, crisp, tangyness). Had it after another SA Chenin blanc and this was better. But nothing super special. — a month ago
Was nice and somewhat refreshing but didn't do too much for me. Was a little on the acidic side. A little spicy.
Opened up kind of nicely after my 20 min walk. — 2 months ago
I was disappointed with this. Didn't have that luxuriousness I was expecting from it based on it being a Bordeaux. To me it tasted dry, uninteresting, and kind of chalky. Have another bottle and will let it open up more and maybe pair with a steak or something like that. — 11 days ago
It's got a nice sweet quality that is definitely appealing to me but it does kind of feel artificial, not like a really quality bottle. — 11 days ago
Nice, very clean. Nice clean nose too. A bit of citrus and apple. Not super interesting but a nice clean glass of white. The colder the better. — a month ago
Light and refreshing. A bit cloudy. Very easy drinking. Maybe taste very mild tannins. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing exciting about it either. — 2 months ago

Very dark color, almost inky. I remember loving it because it had that soily dirty taste to it but I didn't get that this time. Fine for the price though. Solid but nothing really exciting. — a month ago
Nice balanced tannins, didn't pull too much at the tongue. Felt almost silky and luxurious. Had a touch of that quality I love that I think might be complexity/aging. Not a 10/10 wine but a very good wine I definitely enjoyed. Opened up nicely into more of that luxurious, complex quality. Note the age (2014). — 2 months ago

It's a mix of Cabernet Franc and Gamay (Beaujolais). These are apparently both fruity varietals (in different ways) and I definitely get that. Gamay is more light fruity and the cab franc balances that out with more kind of dark spicy fruit. All in all this is a really nice blend. Assuming it's not very expensive I would be happy to return to this. — 5 days ago
