Reviewing on day 1: lightly golden color in the glass and clear appearing filtered. Somewhat tight on the nose but with hints of green apple, pear, and lovely salinity. Bright and fresh green apple and beeswax. Nice and dry with mild tannins and good acidity. Perfect wine to have on a summer’s eve. — 3 years ago
Unfiltered, peach color. Petrol, leather, peat on the nose which reminds me of the port wine caves in Portugal. Complex taste overall with a round mouth feel and a long finish. This oxidized style of wine is well balanced by a bright acidity and slight tartness but does allude to the vin jaune style of the Jurassic region. Very beautiful skin contact Pinot noir. Would love to try some other wines from this vigneron. — 3 years ago

Light straw unfiltered in the glass. VA strong at first on the nose with oxidized forward, mellowing out nicely as it opened and smelling of ripe toasted fruits. Full bodied and round with good acidity cutting through. Tasting of tropical fruit, bananas, and melon with a fresh spiciness. Overall, a lovely and complex Gewurtz from Alsace - big and bold and fun to drink. Pairs well with gnocchi and ricotta. — 3 years ago
