Beautiful Etna with direct fruity bouquet and mild complicated palette.A sip of volcanic terroir. — 3 years ago
A Burgundy-style Yarra PN with high concentration. Aroma of cranberry and mulberry jam. The palette shows a hint of sweetness while the acidity is not clear enough. The retro-taste is medium and jammy. Not so complicated as those PN of its same price level. Prefer a Cotes de Nuits Village with humbler price tag. — 4 years ago

A big old wine of classical enjoyment. Valbuena 5 of 1988 is blasting beyond my expectation. The aroma is so unbelievably complicated that you almost forgot its millesime. The acidity and body are still at their heyday. Valbuena always outperforms my view on tempranillo. Recommend to age 5 years more this vintage. — 3 years ago
