On skins for a mouth of maceration. Aged in cement lined vats for 8-12 months. Delicious, full bodied, good tannin structure. Grilled lamb — 5 years ago
Nose of burnt honey, burnt caramel, burnt strawberry. Over ripe plum and peach.
Taste is a bright and clear peach. Like taking a bite of a ripe peach. Then falls into peach creme brulee. Long delicious finish — 5 years ago
Nose of potting soil
Black berry, nail polish remover, pepper, dark chocolate shavings, bell pepper, forest leaves, blueberry.
Palate: dense and upfront big with tannin grip. Sediment pretty heavy. I let it open, tasting over a few hours hoping it would blossom. Fresh more than dried out fruits. It's not rounded out. Just fractured with everything sticking out by itself. Short finish. I wanted to love this... 2006 drank in 2020 — 5 years ago
Nose: wild strawberries, tart cherry, stone, green apple, pale pink roses
It's frizzante out of the bottle. Would be nice chilled. Sweet at only 5% alcohol. Medium acid and there are a little tannins here which complements the juice nicely. Can feel it on your teeth. It has some character. — 5 years ago
Maybe my favorite white I've tried in a long time. Very much acid driven. The wine tastes better and better as air interacts. Classic Riesling smell, a little cloudy in the glass. Highly highly recommended. — 5 years ago
Nose of pen ink, bandaid, purple flowers, dark cherry, cooked strawberry, graphite and stone.
Palate is a sexy mama, nough said.
2013 in a half bottle...so...same amount of oxygen as a 750ml bottle but only 375ml of wine = faster aging = drinking nicely — 5 years ago
Nose of over ripe red apple, dulche de leche, candy corn, dark honey, oxidative notes.
Palate, honeyed, apricots, passion fruit, all the things you'd expect. In the middle of the fruit there's a bitter almond core that starts mid taste and walks through the finish. This ended up being very bitter the more I drank. 2001 vintage. I would not have it again — 5 years ago
Fresh, light red fruit driven. No oak, no tannin. Very easy drinking. Nice for something different — 5 years ago
Nose: roses and violets. Dark berry fruit (blackberry and blueberry) fresh, juicy. Mineral aspect of stone, rock, granite. Crushed black pepper — 5 years ago

Nose took a minute to open...dark blackberry smelling fresh, walks right into mocha and green coffee beans. Cassis with mint and green pepper cumin and curry. A light smoke. Dried raisin but in the way they taste sweet.
Palate: everything tastes sweet tonight. Pretty light for shiraz but I think that's what this is know as being. A afore mentioned things come through. Still very fresh. Doesn't taste aged a bit. — 5 years ago
