Hawthorne on the nose leading into the palate where the floral quality encounters soil and savory herbs. Light bodied for a cabernet, could use more structure. — 10 years ago

Vibrant, fruit forward wine. Similar flavor profile to primitivo and cabernet with cassis and leather and touch of spice. — 10 years ago
Extremely complex, deep silky wine from a rarer grape. Very floral and earthy with notes of hay, manure, decomposing earth and mature red and purple flowers on the nose and palate. Excellent tannic structure and well integrated acidity. Goes perfectly with steak, mushrooms and caramelized onions - will cut through any heavily savory food in the best possible way. — 10 years ago
Nice opacity and structure. Chocolate and flowers on the nose, purple fruit and earth on the palate. Secretive tannins. — 10 years ago
