This is a 'meh' wine. I bought it because it was really stormy and wanted a spicy red to warm me up. Thought a Tempranillo was a safe bet but even being left in a heated house all day the wine goes down tasting chilled. It's got a peppery taste but only the second it hits your tongue. The oaky finish is what kept me drinking. — 11 years ago
For a table wine, Edgefield is perfect. Just sweet enough but not overpowering. The best parts of a merlot and a dessert wine mixed together. — 11 years ago

Leave out for an hour and the buttery flavor comes out. Just the right amount of spice and smoothness. — 11 years ago
