This is a 'meh' wine. I bought it because it was really stormy and wanted a spicy red to warm me up. Thought a Tempranillo was a safe bet but even being left in a heated house all day the wine goes down tasting chilled. It's got a peppery taste but only the second it hits your tongue. The oaky finish is what kept me drinking. — 12 years ago
