Interesting light red wine. Light in colour, smells of raspberries and tastes fresh cherries. Surprisingly long finish and medium tannins - especially for such a light ruby coloured wine. Would like to try again in a few years to see the impact of ageing. More serious than Beaujolais/Gamay, Not has moody as Pinot Noir. This will also appeal to Shiraz lovers looking for something lighter in warmer weather. — 7 years ago
Interesting white blend from Rioja. Wouldn’t call it the most balanced wine - but was still enjoyable. Slightly buttery, not much fruit - maybe slight taste of green mango. High acid, medium+ body. Bounces around the mouth. Good for summer evening drinking when you want something heavier than a Sav B but not a full on Chardonnay. — 7 years ago
Lovely wine - smells of honeysuckle and similar florals. High acid, but no sharpness on the palate. Tastes of pears and green apples. Slightly fizzy which was a lovely surprise. Would love to try again once it’s aged a little longer in the bottle. — 7 years ago
Dry, high acid. Tastes of Pears, Green Apples, and a dash of citrus. Loved it. Easily better than most NV Champagnes in the AUD30-40 range - paid only AUD15 for this (not on sale) — 7 years ago
Good value Malbec - lovely plum and cherry flavours in the mouth with a whiff of cigar-box tobacco on the nose. Not too heavy, not too light, went very well with roasted duck. — 7 years ago
Good Pinot - very savoury with an interesting cool spice note that appears after the gamey/woody notes. Only fruits are sharp cherry and red apple on the nose before giving way to gamey/leathery notes in the mouth. They left some stalks on in the ferment which may explain the woody and cool spice notes. Thoughtful wine. — 7 years ago
Good example of a cool climate Australian Riesling. 10% is Gewurztraminer and it really shows. Med/High Acid, smells of citrus and citrus florals (like lime flower). Typical lemon and lime on the palate with a surprise of ginger at the end. Would like to try again in a year or two. — 7 years ago

Really impressive wine that’s accessible and good value. Bright notes of pear and lime flower - good citrus minerality. Nutty character on the nose. Great example of a Hunter Valley Semillion! — 7 years ago
