Loaded with oodles of ripe fruit, slightly more oak than my preference, but overall very nice. Holding up beautifully after 17 years in bottle. If memory serves this was very high(in the top 15) on WS list of top 100 wines. — 8 years ago

Showing quite a bit of bottle age. Took 20 min to open up. Still some fruit but more in the dried form - dried currants, dried cherries, then some leather and smoked meat notes. Even a Little raspberry, and wonderfully silly tannins. Probably a few years past it's prime, but still fun to try. — 7 years ago

Lovely acidity, key lime, grapefruit citrus notes, little bit of stone fruit-nectarine, slight green bean. Excellent example of Sancerre, wonderful food wine. — 8 years ago

Our daughter's birth year. Doing nicely, not as good as the Columbia Crest last night, but holding up fairly well. Nicely balanced, good fruit, classic Cabernet fruit, Blk currant, Blk cherry, a tad bit short on the finish. — 8 years ago
