Straight out the bottle, earthy and dark fruit on the nose. Somewhat tannic and a bit spicy, but nice acidity. My medium ribeye and garlic mashed said thanks. The next day mellowed out nicely with more pronounced cherry flavors. Finished well with a buttery grilled gouda on Challah. — 10 years ago
