Rich and cheesy with good mineral length as you’d expect. Some nice classy vanilla shows up. Broad and long. — 5 years ago
Surprisingly soft from what I’ve heard about this site and producer. This bottle showed some development and evolution which was beautiful and in a perfect place. Silky and airy this was verging on ethereal with a long pretty finish that kept its red fruited acidity on the palate. Beautiful wine of florals, red fruit, and mineral tones. So cool to get minerality with such soft and pretty texture! — 5 years ago
So so good. Many Volnay and Chambolle 1er Crus would love to be this wine. Floral herbal spice and red fruits of strawberry and raspberry. Broad and long but still concentrated. This is when WS + Russian River sings. — 5 years ago
Wow! Definitely Premier Cru quality here. Warm citrus and stone fruit with a beam of energy and firm acid stony core. Very Meursault and very very good. — 5 years ago
Opens with a some lovely flint on the nose and the palate is long but still broad. Some real class here for village of course, a treat to taste Leflaive in Puligny — 5 years ago

Wow, powerful aromatics jumping from the glass with dark fruit and florals led by reductive and toasted oak character. The palate is concentrated and complex with juicy black cherry and some real finesse, fine but present tannins finish long. Can’t wait to try again in 4 years! — 5 years ago

Lovely wine, not overly complex but good quality. Not one to be opened in its youth, should have time to soften in its texture to let that Chambolle fruit shine. — 4 years ago
