Perhaps this applies to all ports (I'm new to 'Vinho do Porto'), but upon first taste I'm immediately hit with a strong combo of top-shelf expectorant and the Eucharist. On a personal note: Cough syrup and Holy Communions were abundant in my pre-teen years. Thus, this one is quite a nostalgic port for yours truly. I *highly* recommend. — 9 years ago

I'm smiling but just barely (8.0), and mostly because the bottle was > $8. Thin and supple; my girlfriend tasted vanilla but I didn't catch that. All in all a pretty #basicbordeaux. — 9 years ago
