Definitely can taste the spicy flavors and dry feeling afterwards. The simple opinion: does the job. The chocolate is somewhat subtle but there are nice hints of cherry. Overall, it taste oaky. I did not pair this with any food, and the wine should be keto diet friendly. Disclaimer: this is my first wine review so it might need some work. — 6 years ago
Did the job. The unexpected thing is this went well with hotpot. — 6 years ago
Definitely not for me. The wine is sweet like honey and peaches so it does make an okay aperitif for me. It does have that overpowering honey type of sweet meaning I cannot have a lot of it. The biggest problem I have is that like an excessive honey/nectar after taste, the wine taste minty borderline bitter. Not dry for sure. — 6 years ago
The simple rating: more than does the job. Definitely love the crisp and dry taste that borders on being a "fake" sparkling after taste. I did pair this with a Sweetgreen Harvest Bowl that had kale, goat cheese, sweet potato, chicken, almonds...and more. The wine itself is keto friendly even though I am not, ha. — 6 years ago

Loved this pinot noir when it was 2015. One of my favorite pinot noirs alongside Trader Joe's Moon X. — 6 years ago
