As someone who is not usually a fan of whites, I was pleasantly surprised by this bottle. Light, fresh nose and flavor. Hints of juicy pears? Maybe apples? Simple wine, but I will definitely try it again.. Maybe next time I will have to accompany it with a salad and fish dinner. Worth the $10 I paid. — 9 years ago
Such a full-bodied wine with a nose similar to that of dried tobacco. At first sip, the taster notices a touch of berries which is quickly followed by a layer of oak and finished with a pungent spice. Paired nicely with a simple plate of cheddar cheese, pepperoni and crackers. Would definitely drink again, perhaps with some pasta and mushrooms to pair with and complement the smooth finish. — 9 years ago
Paired this cab sav with a variety of cheeses, grapes, summer sausage, and the ever-so delicious Rosemary & Olive Oil Triscuits. However, not even that list of my favorite things could save this wine. The nose is similar to cleaning supplies and plastic. Once you get past that, the flavor is not much better. I feel like I am drinking a melted candle. Worst review for the worst wine. Glad I got this for free... (6.1 is the lowest I can go??!! 😫) — 9 years ago
Strong and vibrant nose featuring hints of roses and ripe/juicy fruits, but also a touch of acetone. Smooth and well-structured body with a firm acidity. Nice oak finish - perhaps also a slight reminder of licorice? Overall, a delicious and rich wine, which continues to open up with more air time. — 9 years ago
