Passion fruit and gooseberry with tart apple. It's easy to drink and a great price. — 9 years ago
I am not going to lie, I don't know much about cab. It struck me as very dry at first, but I noticed more of a generic grape juicy taste the more I drank it. I am guessing that means it's not that complex for a cab (I always hear people talk about cab like it's supposed to be the world's most complex wine). I liked it well enough for a Friday night after work with Pizza. It has a fun little telling of the owners on the label. I will try another vintage sometime and maybe another wine from the same Vineyard.
*Edit: I noticed some kind of a subtle strawberry which was kind of cool after a while of drinking it, but maybe I am just drunk. — 9 years ago
Old world and slightly floral. It's a unique and low priced choice. — 8 years ago
I definitely taste the spice. Maybe some tobacco. It's a great blend. Love it. — 8 years ago
It starts off light bodied with a faint strawberry and finishes with a surprising smokiness. To me it is very unique and I really liked it. — 9 years ago
It's a decent merlot. It has the neutral semi-dry smoothness that you expect from a good merlot. No stand out structure or notes, but smooth and drinkable. — 9 years ago
Very big and fruity. I noticed a lot of bing cherry, some berry and a touch chocolate. Very smooth and nice. — 8 years ago
A slightly sweeter one from the Marlborough region. Stronger on the plummy passion fruit, less grapefruit or grassiness. It's nice. — 9 years ago
If someone gave this to me and didn’t tell me that it was a merlot, I would think that it's a cab. Dark fruit notes with unique musky, tropical and spicy elements (I noticed people mentioning tobacco.. Works for me). I like it better than most merlot. Sometimes merlot strikes me as generic and grape juicy. My father used to call merlot wine for drunks lol. — 9 years ago

I love it. It's like crisp grapefruit and very refreshing with the clam linguine we are having tonight. — 8 years ago
