Bright red sparkly wine. Cab character subdued but love the wine — 8 months ago
Pale straw color but would not characterize as oxidized in the least. Subdued nose of lemon apple and slight butterscotch. Mouth-filling fruit pear apple green grape and balanced acidity. Another amazing showing of this unique Chardonnay, the true to form winemaking in a Burgundian style and the terroir of Spring Mountain. Love it and will hold other bottles for future enjoyment — 8 months ago
Deep ruby and opaque with suspended sediment. Delicious rich nose of ripe jammy fruit and alcohol. Opened in December 2023 and last glass in April 2024. Fascinating blend of dark fruits caramel and vanilla. Amazing example of a vintage of the previous century. Drink now — 11 days ago
Deep purple nearly opaque. Delicately fruity nose of black cherry and boysenberry jam. Bright acidity and rich black fruits maybe some spice. High alcohol is masked by the rich palate and acid. Great wine with pizza and salad. Drink now or hold a few years. — 6 months ago
Dark straw color suggesting a bit of oxidation. Pair and honey and a little mineral like flint. Delicious apple and pear with some subtle floral notes. I like the other reviewers notes on custard. Despite no malolactic fermentation there is a creaminess to the wine. Drink now based on this bottle though could be a cork issue. — 8 months ago
Clear garnet with no trace of brick-red. Lively red fruitiness on the nose despite age. Supple tannins without being flabby. Nice acidity which pairs well with Prime NY strip, mushrooms and garbage salad (everything left in the crisper. Nice wine but I don’t understand it very well. — 5 months ago
Delicious wine. Tasting based on a friend’s bottle opened a week ago. Deep clear purple. Tarry nose though not alcoholic despite a ripe 4.8% ABV. Serving with a garlicky rosemary lamb. Seek out this limited release wine and drink now! — 7 months ago
Zippy fruit-forward Grenache that’s going great with pork shoulder and traditional side in summer. Refreshingly lower alcohol than the Santa Barbara offerings which helps the fruit be the star. Drink now! — 8 months ago
Purchased from Eric Browns shop in Chamblee, GA a decade ago and found in my cellar with a hand-written note to “hold”. Really thought he sold me a burgundy but now I understand cab franc. That explains a lot. Opened last night with salmon on a cedar plank on BGE. Way better this evening with cedar on the nose, slight brick on the edges of the glass. Forward black fruit and leather. My vote drink now if you got some left. — 10 months ago

Deep garnet color with a hint of brick. Leather and black cherry on the nose very subdued alcohol. Earthy notes at first then dried orange peel dried montmorancy cherry leather and a bit of smoke. Have one more in the cellar which I will wait 2-5years to open. Thanks to Eric Brown for recommending this lovely cab franc — 3 hours ago
