Juicy Barolo...blueberries, pomegranate, rose water, black tea and oregano. Intense ruby color. Somewhat opaque. Tannins cool off as you let it aerate. Was a bit overwhelming at first but settled in very nicely. — 5 years ago

Deep purple, opaque in the center; thick wine with heavy heavy legs, good amount of sediment that stained my hands purple when I removed the cork. The aroma on the nose is intoxicating - it pulls you in with deep berry and cherry notes, then dried fruit and baking spices giving it a fruit cake like quality; further still are subtle notes of bell pepper cedar and tobacco. On the palette is reminds me tomatoes and cherries roasted over cedar with cinnamon. — 5 years ago
