Good concentration of flavors showing notes of cassis, blackberry, red plum, lavender, violets, nutmeg and cloves. I would drink now or hold for 3-5 more years to experience an even more complex Pessac-Leognan. — 8 years ago

Lots of lavender, rosemary and rose. The wine still shows some signs of primary aromas and flavors of blackberries, plums and black raspberries. The oak comes through nicely as warm spice, cloves and sandalwood. All well integrated and with med+ acidity. The tannins are velvety. Mature and drinking wonderfully now but it should last another year or two in the cellar. — 8 years ago

Med + intensity on the nose with aromas of white blossom, hay, lemon juice, ripe peach, pineapple, some ginger and lots of saline on the nose and even more on the palate. Nice and refreshing acidity (med +) with the palate dominated by peach, yellow apples and lots of pleasantly lingering saline. Given the concentration of flavors and strong backbone, I would love to see the evolution of this wine in the next 10 years. — 7 years ago
