Appearance: deep ruby. Nose: clean, fully developed, medium low intensity, black cherry, raspberry, raisins, hazelnut. Palate: dry, medium plus acidity, medium tannins, medium high alcohol, medium flavor intensity; raspberry, red cherry, wet leaves, hazelnut; medium plus finish. Quality: good -- drink now. A delightful surprise in flavor after hiding behind a rather low-intensity nose. I would drink this any day of the week. — 8 years ago

Garnet hue with a clean nose of red rose, raspberries, cherries, almond and wet fall leaves. Dry with medium acidity and tannins. Sadly, the flavor does not deliver on the nose, which is mostly prune. Medium alcohol and body, with medium flair intensity and finish. Acceptable but drink now as this wine is waning. — 8 years ago
