Appley. A little gooey. Like undercooked pie crust in a good way. — 8 years ago
2013 drinking a little hot right now. Has potential buts needs time. Cellar this one. — 9 years ago
Tastes just like you'd imagine a raw gem stone of the same color would taste like in a Roald Dahl-imagined universe. — 8 years ago
While a close relative of Syrah, it doesn't feature so prominently the savory characteristics I love so well about that grape. Instead it highlights a twinkle of blackberry-bramble, notes of taught plum, and something shimmery--as if it has captured all the purest intentions of a rainbow sheen on the surface of a slow-roasted Prime Rib, observed under candlelight. — 8 years ago
Quintessential 2012 Napa cab sauv. Robert Parker style. — 9 years ago
There's *life* in this bottle! Medium-bodied, vibrant and energetic. ❤️🍷 — 9 years ago
It's pretty. soft, shyly expressive (like someone who has a gorgeous voice but the only time anyone gets to hear it is two rooms away when they're singing in the shower 'cause they think no one's home). Really a gentle kind of caressing wine that is kinda longing to tell you about itself but won't unless you ask. — 8 years ago
Shy at first but opens stunningly in the glass. Rich, deep, nuanced. Incredible balance between earthy Pinot Noir and the candied fruits of Gamay once it comes out of its shell. Definitely decant this one. — 9 years ago
The sort of wine that can release your tension with just a whif. Elegant smooth red fruits with a hint savory notes in balance. All-natural — 9 years ago

Banging gamay showing its potential across the tracks. Rich in an elegantly rustic way. Like the Southern B&B the Mrs keeps wanting you to take her to. Everything you want from a Cru Beaujolais without the price tag. — 8 years ago
