Unique wine that should be tried. Don't let any stars/ratings hold you back. A different wine from Sicily.

Appearance: Clean, watery edge, transparent
Nose: floral, cherry, seriously some strawberry
Taste: complex, nuanced, smooth but slightly tannic
Finish: soft, does not linger

Drink: Now

Food: try it with some pan seared fish. Am going to buy some to do so.

Nose:
Taste: great structure. Velvet, smooth, raspberry, cherry, dry
Finish: nice long smooth finish. Enjoy
Overall: merry edwards produces fabulous wines at a very competitive price. Must try as a Cali pinot. If liked join the list and buy single vineyards

Tasted twice and just not impressed. A polarizing wine as some people loved it and others absolutelt not. Included as part of a blind tasting with Marcassin, Merry Edwards, Antica Terra, old premiere cru french.

Purchased off list and a little disappointed. Perhaps time will tell but not investing $150 a bottle going forward.

Boy o boy. Must try as part of a Pinot experience. Old world.

Appearance: rich purple red. Very youthful compared to other 93's openend. Colour much closer to much much younger pinots. Surprising. No brick yet
Nose: floral, berries, intense, nicr
Taste: woodsy, forest, cherry, rasberries, definitely french. Great structure and balance, nice tannins. Great with food and explore
Finish: subtle, balanced and stays with you. Acfentuates food. Fantastic pairing wine.
Overall: surprised and impressed. Great premier cru. Purchased for $160 in 2015. Great drinking 1993.

Drink: now or wait a couple

Food: Yes. Mushroom risotto, coq au vin, polenta and morels, steak. Smorgasboard and try with different things.

Top value at that price.

Appearance: Dark, lush, purplish
Nose: soft cherry, plum, forest
Taste: fresh, good structure and balance. Intense.
Finish: strong finish.
Overall: incredible value at $10. Hard for ratings. A great wine especially at that price point.

Drink: Now - 2020 --> drinks great now but will last a while and may benefit from a year in the cellar. It opened up very nicely over a couple of hours.

Food: Roasts, grilled meat, italian sausage risotto. Or solo in the decanter.
