I don't know if I got a bad bottle or if I just don't like this, but it was NOT good. Very little body, way too much acid on the back end- I've had barberas before and have never had anything so acidic and tangy on the back end with such lack of body! — 9 years ago

Ben loves this stuff! Has a lot of qualities of a Malbec, not quite as bold and heavy up front as a typical cab. A little sweet on the front end, definitely acidic on the back end- almost has a bit of blackberry?? Costco find (I think I got the first bottle for $7.99??) — 10 years ago

Really great sav- not super bright or bite-y on the front end, but pretty acidic on the back end. Not as fruity or preferable as my Marlborough Sauvignon blancs, but still good! — 10 years ago

I love this sav! The Marlborough varieties are my favorite, and this is one of my favorite favorites! Perfect for summer, has good legs and isn't too crisp on the too or sweet on the backend. Notes of grapefruit and (apricot?). — 10 years ago
