You may be familiar with the District Series by the same Vintner. After letting the bottle open up, I like the tanic qualities of vanilla, Hickory and plum. Classic Napa Valley Cabernet notes.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better cab at the price point, of $16-18

You can’t say much more than this is perhaps the finest Pinot Noir available.
It opens up bright, but mid pallet brings on more complex flavors than you’d expect from a Pinot grape. Finish is a bit earthy and delightful.
Thank you Brewer-Clifton for this wonderful Pinot Noir. — 4 months ago
A good Paso Cabernet Sauvignon — 7 months ago
A a decent drinking VIOGNIER with notes of crisp green apple. Not a 90+ but a solid 89 — 8 months ago
I really enjoyed the complexity of this wine. Maybe it’s because they use 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and bottle unfiltered. Flavor profile includes blackberries, raspberry, and an earthy finish.
if you have a chance to enjoy a bottle, don’t hesitate.

A proper Napa cab. Elegant complexity in oak flavors with accents of blackberry, dark cherry and licorice. A smooth and long finish delights the pallet. — 6 months ago

Don’t brush off Merlot‘s. Especially if those Merlot’s are from Yountville, in Napa Valley. The climate in Yountville is particularly well-suited for grape growing. It sits in a sweet spot where it receives warm, sunny days perfect for ripening grapes, while cool evening breezes and fog from San Pablo Bay help too.
Let this wine open up and breathe for 2+ hours and you’ll be delighted with a similar complexity to a Cabernet, with Oakey notes and bright raspberry and plum flavors
An excellent choice from the same area as Stag Leap vineyards
