Bought the this $8 bottle at Trader Joes. Label says aromas of red and wood berries. The palates dry, well balanced and full bodied with a long finish. We had it with lasagna and enjoyed it. — 9 years ago
$8 at Targé. Dave Matthews CabSav Colab. Label says aromas of blackberry, cherry, and bittersweet chocolate with hints of toasty oak. Actually able to identify a bittersweet chocolate taste prior to reading the label btw. One reviewer said it has a jammy nose and I guess I can see that too. It tastes sweet. — 9 years ago
$12 at Total Wine. Vicky drank most of it tonight when I went to Raleigh to pick up Justin from Colorado. Label says beautiful bouquet of wild black berries, licorice and spices. Tastes good.

Sarah brought this wine to dinner tonight. 2nd bottle lol. It's light and easy to drink, label says polished and well balanced. Fruit flavored and smooth tannins. (Which sounds kind of generic to me) DOC tho so it's that Italian shiz. That's how we roll. Fun Italian night with laazzzagna. Good wine easy to drink. — 9 years ago
Katy Perry's favorite wine. We got it at World Market for $8. Label says bold flavors of blackberry and black cherry, supported by firm tannins, brown spice and a dark chocolate espresso. — 9 years ago
This was Sarah and Vicky's 3rd bottle. I had gone to bed at this point. Had some around lunch time and really enjoyed it actually. One of Trader Joes $8 "staff pick" wines. Label says things I've never heard wine be described as: bouquet of blackberries, autumnal leaves and baking spices followed by opulent flavors of clove and marzipan. I like it a lot, more so than the other cabs so far. — 9 years ago
$8 from Target. Vicky said she liked the label which says bold flavors of dark red berries and aromas of sweet vanilla and toasty oak. At first taste we didn't like it, we poured it into a bowl to "let it breathe" and we still kinda don't like it. I asked Vicky if she could taste anything described on the label she said "it kinda just tastes like wine." Prolly won't buy again. — 9 years ago
First wine we've rated. Vicky said its plain and can definitely see it being a good food wine. Label says black currant, violets, and a dash of black pepper. Other reviews said it has trouble standing by itself, but the bottle I got stands up just fine. No wobbling or nothin! Got it at World Market and then went to The Melting Pot for "Date Hour" where Vicky's glass there cost more than this bottle. — 9 years ago
Matt Cole
Trader joes $8 special. I really liked this wine. We were really able to smell and taste and identify things in this wine. Things like whisky and oak and caramel. It was thin and watery but easy to drink. Liked it more than some of the other ones. — 9 years ago
