The terroir on the nose reminds me of the Israel I've never been to in my life. Sandstorm swept stone walls and bramble bush leafy greens on the nose and a taste profile that completes the imagery with classic petite sirah character dusted with a chalky mineral must. — 3 years ago

Light bodied, full pinot noir aroma and nose-feel, warm cherry palate with cran-raspberry and plum, little soft leather, and medium to long finish on first taste. Later tastes turned reminiscent of Beaujolais, but with a heavier, fuller mouthfeel and truer Pinot Noir finish. Not quite a Willamette Pinot, but competes at a good price point. — 2 years ago

For a 2018, it's still a little tight, although Spanish wines do tend to last longer on the shelf. A dark luscious red garnet color with a tin-sharp nose of fresh cave mossberry, whatever that is. First taste hits with gooseberry and apricot, super-dry medium-light body wash grabs for another sip as the final taste draws out strawberry jam with a cranberry bread tart finish. — a year ago

Reminds me more of a Viognier than Riesling, with its earthy mineral flavors and medium body. A surprising effervescence as well, more than a cava, stopping just short of qualifying as Sparkling, in my opinion. Melon lemon flavors, barely sweet, almost dry. — 4 years ago
