Juicy out of the bottle, but still showing great transparency, texture and vibrancy. Aging extremely well. Transformative with air while maintaining chewy tannins. Great depth without being extracted. Distinctly California, in a good way! — 9 years ago

Reminecent of sour lemon and orange peel on the nose, with subtle notes of white pepper, wet concrete and white flowers. Reminds me of talking a walk in the city after the first rain of spring, but with citrus. On the palate it is crisp, refreshing and full. Intense flavor and minerality in the mid palate that follows through to the finish. Would highly recommend to those who like sour beers. — 10 years ago
