Definitely better than previous vintages, probably the best i‘ve tasted so far! Bold, luscious, buttery-creamy. Bright golden color, complex nose of 🍌bananas, 🍍pineapples, 🍈honeymelon, toffee alongside with lactic-yeasty notes of yoghurt and buttermilk. Broad on the palate, full bodied, juicy fruit, very well integrated alcohol and super long afterhall: at first the fruit, then the oak shines through and even after minutes you have the nice malolactic in your mouth. — 6 years ago

Comes very pleasing and approachable despite it‘s young age. Blackcurrant and some kind of plum underlined with fine licorice, some leather and also violets. Complex, structured, juicily mouth filling, highly mineralic and long. Only the acidity needs to settle down a bit over some years but tannin-wise this is very fine drinking now. — 6 years ago

Dark blackish red, very intense color. Nose full of ripe berries, some tea leaves, some wet stones. On the palate very structured, juicy, lively acidity, soft tannins, very mineralic, well integrated alcohol, long mineral driven afterhall. Unoaked! (Made in stainless steel) — 6 years ago

I‘m in love with duoro 💕. This has everything a truly great red wine needs. Super dark color, complex aromatics ranging from dark berries and ripe plum over some vanilla-chocolately-notes to tobacco and cedar wood. (The fruit is a little bit in the background though). On the palate it is rich, concentrated, full-bodied, has a mouthwatering minerality, super fine tannins and a very very well integrated alcohol (which, for duoro, isn‘t really high at 14,5%). Also the afterhall is long, warm and minerality driven. Fine drinking now, will be better in 5 years and live up to 10 years maybe even more. — 6 years ago

Plums, violets, graphite. Very rich and concentrated, but lacks structure and depth. But hey, this thing is bloody young - maybe things (especially the high alcohol which seems out of place here) will settle down over the years - tastes promising. — 6 years ago
