On the nose, alcohol is present given the 14% level and dark ripe berries and plums, hints of vanilla with a tidy bit of minerals. The mouth is full bodied and the minerality expresses itself much better with the ripe berries. Tannins balance well the silky structure. The finish is a bit disappointing.
