I like Zamora's comment of "young Amarone." and really enjoyed this wine with a simple lunch. Luxurious purple color, new and slightly wet leather on the nose. Some may find it favoring acid on the palate but I think this sensation can be confused with mineral. The fruit it gives are subtle hints of red cassis and the skin of a plumb. A little sweetness lingers on the lips after the drink. — 9 years ago
