When opened we thought it was corked. Had a pungent aroma and highly acidic. After about an hour decanting, the notes changed considerably. Soft fruit and current. Mild tannin notes. Subtle earthy mouth feel and a sweetness at the back of the palette. After additional time. A fine old world burgundy. Enjoyable alone or with food. — 8 years ago
